Growing in Peace
is a new project
involving the setting up of 5 community gardens within
the Castleblayney/mid Monaghan area. Participants are
welcome from general mid Monaghan hinterland and indeed
further a field. People will come together to grow food/vegetables
(and to learn how to grow food) with the resulting product
being shared among the participants. If you want to
take part or simply find out more about the project
please contact Martin Duffy (project worker) at the
Iontas Centre, Castleblayney on (9753400) or mobile
087/2402227. Growing in peace is funded by peace 111.
The official launch of the project will take place in
the Iontas centre on Tuesday the 9th Feb. at 7.30pm
Everybody is welcome and further details of the project
will be outlined on the night.
